Neomasculinity And Male Identity
Just as the male identity type called The Zeta Male can be characterized as a reactionary male identity paradigm, Neomasculinity can also be looked at as a group of reactionary individual and social behaviors men use to cope with the male-female relationship changes brought on by Cultural Marxism over the last century. Obviously, in those societal groups that don’t espouse the Cultural Marxist Societal Model, the conscious adoption of reactionary male identity models such as the Zeta Male, MGTOW, or Neomasculinity are of little or no concern to the men in non-Cultural Marxist societies. In other words, we don’t find a lot of Zeta Male, MGTOW, or Neomasculinity theory being talked about in Amish communities of the United States, truly religious (Christian, Moslem, Buddhist, etc.) communities throughout the world, or in many androcentric isolated tribal societies that still exist today.
Cultural Marxism has given us many freedom-killing societal structures such as a more centralized and all-controlling government with so many laws, regulations by hundreds of government agencies, and tax laws that no one knows or has time to count how many laws, regulations, and tax laws exist. And yes, Cultural Marxism has given us Feminism (feminism, radical feminism, third wave feminism, etc.). On a very simplistic level, common sense tells us that “A man is not a woman, and a woman is not a man,” but feminism tells us that, “A woman can be a woman, and a woman can also be a man,” and “A man’s value is equal only to his level of utility to women” which is an ingenious feminist posturing stratagem in the eternal “gender war”. As a reaction to this Cultural Marxist nonsense, we see men espousing male identity models such as The Zeta Male, or the Neomasculinity set of behaviors, or concepts such as “taking the red pill”. All of this shows a growing male awareness of the different manisfestations of predatory gynocentrism. Remember, due to the Internet, we are in the first century of human history where men are collectively putting together a formalized definition of gynocentrism on an international level that defines the structural framework of how gynocentrism impacts masculinity.
What Is Neomasculinity?
The video below describes neomasculinity as a backlash or reaction against toxic women. I would add that a so-called toxic woman is one that religiously follows the anti-male concepts within the framework of the feminist religion.
Another explanation of Neomasculinity comes from Rooshv.com which states that Neomasculinity encompasses all of the following:
Traditional sex roles
Understanding the true nature of women
Equal legal rights, free speech, due process
Hard work ethic
Red pill truths
Sexual marketplace value
Binary sex model
Natural health and hygiene (baking soda, apple cider vinegar, etc)
Feminine beauty ideals
Deeper life meaning and/or spirituality
Rooshv.com states “To be neomasculine would be to believe or advocate for more than half of the above list.”
All of this points to the fact that Neomasculinity is a reactionary male set of behaviors that has as its goal the creation of a more empowered male that has a more satisfying and happy life, and who is in greater control of his relationships with women. In short, we can say that the main purpose of any of these reactionary male identity frameworks is to bring happiness to men. Of course, proponents of the major religions created by men (Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, etc.) would say that following their religious principles would do the same for men. Also, the ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman male philosophers can be said to have wanted the same for men too. Remember, Aristotle (philosopher and founder of the Lyceum, the first scientific institute, based in Athens, Greece) enshrined happiness as a central purpose of human life and a goal in itself. Throughout human history, men have constructed cognitive highways to happiness by creating organized male identity models which include formal religions, academic-level fields of philosophy, and organized social defense systems against predatory gynocentrism, e.g., Neomasculinity.
