Fathers Seeking Political Asylum
At the National Coalition for Men’s Website (ncfm.org) I ran across an article that illustrates a new concept that I had not thought of previously. The article is entitled, “Request for asylum, on the run for trying to protect my children, Douglas Gray’s story.”
The very idea that now fathers in Western Gynocracies may need to seek the safety of political asyslum from any anti-male government’s family court system shows how far the psychological, social, and economic oppression of men has come. Douglas Gray’s articles include such passages as:
“I am again writing you and still looking for help in reaching a safe haven of political refugee status. No one seem to want to or care about fathers of the world. I am still in need of travel papers that no country I have contacted is will to supply. My landlord is selling my apartment and I will soon be on the streets. Since I have no ID, I can not get another place and soon end up in a jail here in the Philippines where I am sure I will disappear. Please do what you can even if it is only bringing awareness to the massive plight of fathers and their children in the world.”
"Today no man is safe from unsubstantiated claims by any woman who decided to make them, not even presidential candidates. Not only is no proof, other than the word of a woman, that is necessary to convict a man of a crime against women, but when proof of the man’s innocence is presented, only the charges are dropped against the man but he is still labeled as an abuser by the police and the women’s rights movement and supporters for life. This is done by the system since it is falsely believed no woman would lie about such a thing. This is how women have won in the civil courts in divorce and child custody hearings for well over a decade now. It is the children that suffer along with the men and the American Family as a whole." Douglas Gray’s article is rather lengthy, but if true, confirms what many MRAs already know about the outright abuse and discrimination against men and boys at the hands of an anti-male government and misandrous media, but what about this idea of political asylum for men?
What type of country would be suitable to grant political asylum to politically oppressed men?
Obviously, this idea of political refugee status for fathers seems to be a great idea, but the fact is that it is not currently an available option to men. Any country willing to grant political refugee status to American fathers would have to be a very special country indeed. Certainly, it would have to have some of the following characteristics that most countries won’t risk such as:
–Be willing to stand up to US political and economic pressure
–Be willing to grant residency status to oppressed fathers
–Be willing to offer political refugee fathers economic and political aid to help them stay in contact with their children
Offering political refugee fathers political asylum is only the beginning. In the name of human rights, the international community possibly with the help of the UN could intervene so that these oppressed fathers could continue to stay in contact with their children. Again this all sounds great, but seems almost impossible at this point in time since most countries won’t stand up to US pressure, and the UN doesn’t seem very interested in men’s rights the way MRAs feel about men’s rights.
Finally, on a pragmatic level, political asylum for fathers is out of reach at this time, but it is a goal worth working towards that would entail learning the political ins and outs of the UN, and finding some countries willing to help politically persecuted fathers in spite of the economic and political pressure of the misandrous American Empire.
