Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850) was a French economist, legislator, and writer who championed private property, free markets, and limited government. He is without doubt a Great Male Thinker. Bastiat’s “The Law” deals with important concepts and questions relating to the relationship between individuals and government
We all know that your bank account in any big bank gives you absolutely no financial privacy from the US Government, and now we know that the money in your bank account is not safe from government confiscation including taxation on the interest earned, and even the new threat of a tax on the principal.
One of the reasons for the continued growth of anonymous currencies/cryptocurrencies in the digital world is the innate yearning that men have to be free both economically and socially. In addition, anonymous currencies such as Bitcoin also provide a way of earning wealth through speculation on the future value of digital currencies and through mining digital currencies such as Litecoin for those with the necessary mining expertise. The creation of Litecoin does point to the fact that the usage and the idea of anonymous currencies continues to grow, but what is Litecoin, and what is its relationship to Bitcoin?
The more economic freedom in any country, the more prosperous and happy the population in general. This is a very simple concept that the videos below from economicfreedom.org reinforce. It isn’t hard to see why the smaller and less controlling the government, the greater the amount of economic freedom is enjoyed by all. After all, if your income and wealth aren’t free, you aren’t free. The alarming continued growth of oppressive Big Sister Government, and reckless government spending is a definite threat to the economic freedom of all freedom-loving men.
Asset protection, privacy from Big Sister Government, and offshore solutions help to keep you and your assets free for your own personal enjoyment. After all, you’ve worked hard for all that you have.
It is no surprise that the Freedom on the Net 2013 Report from Freedom House shows a decline in Internet Freedom. We all like to think that the World Wide Web is one of mankind’s last frontiers of freedom. Unfortunately, reports on Internet freedom such as the Freedom on the Net 2013 Report are painful reminders that tyranny never sleeps and freedom-loving people should never let their guard down. Eternal vigilance and eternal struggle is necessary to maintain our freedoms.
The Electronic Frontier Foundation was founded in July of 1990 when they took on a legal case that resulted, according to their website, an important legal principle:

The video below by ScrewBanks.net is short, but very thought provoking. Is is also a good introduction into thinking about using
bitcoin as part of your overall financial and individual freedom plans.
The video below allows you to listen to the interview with Trace Mayer (“Freedom is profitable”)where he actually talks about Bitcoin being bettan than gold. Gold is a valuable asset, yet it becomes a risky asset if the government makes holding and transferring gold a virtual mine field of rules and regulations. Bitcoin looks like it is becoming a bulwark against despotic government.

It is common knowledge that the so-called “underground economy, a.k.a. black market, or informal economy” is huge. Articles such as the Cato Institute’s New Underground Economy article aptly describes this growing anti-government trend. WiseGeek.com’s article What is the Underground Economy? also points to the widespread underground economy when it states that “As of 2010, the underground economy in the United States alone was estimated to account for over $2 trillion US Dollars (USD) per year in unreported cash holdings.” In this description about the underground economy, we focus on this informal economy and its relationship to the question, When will men be free? Note: this website in no way advocates that anyone break any laws including the tax laws regarding the reporting of income; however, one of the purposes of this website is to get males to think about the various ways that their wealth and hard-earned income are involuntarily taken from them and the asset protection solutions men consider to end that very involuntary confiscation of their wealth and earnings. In talking about the Men’s Rights Movement (MRM), it is necessary to talk about the reasons for the underground economy and why men seek economic liberty.

An interesting statement in the Forbes article brings up some important concepts inherent to individual freedom:
